I wanted to draw this as soon as she stepped onto that main stage, and I am a few weeks late, but better late than never. But does it really matter how we are perceived at the end of the day? Perhaps it is because I see a lot of myself in her. We are 4 episodes into this season of 8 if you count Untucked, and I still for the life of me cannot understand how can be seen as the villain. What do you think? Should I fully paint this piece, or leave it in a simple sketchy look? I kind of like the elegance and simplicity in it, and think it would look wonderful as is on a white/cream all-over shirt.
I originally planned on fully painting this piece, but I stopped at this point wondering if I should keep it this way. And how could I not? I also quite enjoyed kimono I must say. The moment walked out in that kimono, everyone who follows my work knew I would be drawing a piece related to it. Some dislikes the character impersonations (Michael, Kimmy Jong Un and Uso where everything), some didn’t like the similar runway looks and some, like me, are absolutely devastated that “Sashayed Away.” I enjoyed the episode regardless to popular opinion, aside from the elimination for obvious reasons, but alas the race continues. It’s been such a heavy week for The episode everyone was waiting for “Snatch Game” brought with it so many mixed emotions.
